I direct a local high school drama club and we are currently performing musical Baker Street, based on the Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. These are my directors notes for the program. I wonder if Sir Arthur Conan Doyle knew that when he created the fictional character of Sherlock Holmes the character would not only survive for 125 years, but would become a cultural icon in the 21.
